iu has served as a volunteer at CIIE three times. In the previous CIIE, she worked as a service security, responsible for the logistical support of volunteers, recording volunteer attendance, and participating in the patrol tasks during the volunteers' induction.

In this year's Fair, Liu served as the team leader of SISU volunteers in the operation office and was in charge of setting the schedule and inspecting the pavilion. Liu also participated in the CIIE outreach team, assisting foreign exhibitors with relevant knowledge base stockpiling and question setting for interview subjects.

As the first to arrive at the venue and the last to leave, Liu’s team was required to coordinate the work arrangements of volunteers. Not only does she need to assign volunteers to work within a limited time, but also need to ensure the basic needs of the volunteers in all aspects during the work rotation. Successive tasks brought tremendous pressure, and it was Liu who led the team to continuously deliver satisfactory results.

The experience of being a volunteer has made Liu more focused on her own feelings, not to be overly concerned about gains and losses. In her own words, to always maintain a heart of participation, so that she can calmly accomplish every goal she wants to reach.

Liu said she was more than delighted to meet people and work toward a common goal in a teamwork setting.

“I remembered one night when our team took a bus from the exhibition center back to the hotel last year. We told jokes, sang songs and chatted on the bus, despite being exhausted from days of volunteering. This experience is all about teamwork and friendship,” Liu said.

Liu's friendship and leadership were well received by all volunteers, and she was further awarded as an “Outstanding Volunteer” by the organizers for her excellent coordination and leadership skills and for her selflessness and dedication.

“I hope all volunteers can find their value and wish all the best!” Liu sent her most sincere wishes to the SISU volunteers who will be on duty for the 5^th CIIE.
