he delegation consisting of seven Arabic officials visited China-Arab Research Center on Reform and Development in Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), while attending the third training program for Arab officials on April 24 and 25, 2018 for further Sino-Arabic cooperation on education and culture.

SISU President Li Yansong and SISU University Council Chair Jiang Feng, during the meeting with the delegation of Arabic officials, said that SISU has been developing China-Arab Research Center on Reform and Development by high-level language skills, think-tank resources and international communication abilities. They also introduced SISU’s efforts on cultivating international talents with a global vision and strong cross-culture communication skills.

Li and Jiang pointed out that they hoped the visitors and SISU scholars will enhance exchanges about state-governance and come to a better understanding of the “One Belt and One Road” initiative.

Former Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif noted that the “One Belt and One Road” initiative is the same as a collective achievement of the world. He said that China regards the world as a diverse community that shares the same destiny and that it will work jointly towards internationalization with different countries.

Former Sudanese Parliament Speaker Fatah also proclaimed that the “One Belt and One Road” initiative benefits cross-culture communication.

After meeting with members of the seminar, the officials and SISU experts on China-Arab relations held an academic discussion.
