t has been three years since the Ministry of Education started to implement the “National Undergraduate Training Programs for Innovation and Entrepreneurship” (NUTPIE). And students in Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) get more chances to start their own businesses.
“I feel changeless in my college life and I want to do things different,” Xu Kaisheng said. He’s now a senior law student, who also found “SISUStore”, the biggest retailer selling SISU related products on campus.
They sell clothes, mugs, caps, umbrellas and even fruits through WeChat online store and deliver it offline, making it a small O2O platform.
“I get to know how to operate a team and we gain lots of unforgettable memories together,” Xu Kaisheng said.
According to the official data, this year SISU students applied for least 100 programs including 63 innovation programs and 37 entrepreneurship programs.
School of Business and Management held an expert guidance meeting for innovation and entrepreneurship programs on Monday. Xu Yong, a professor said that the program was a platform for students to develop their “little dreams.”
“To be familiar with why you do the program and practice enough are the most important things.” Professor Zhu Jiqing, panel member for the program guidance, gave his advices on the meeting.
