Coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Confucius Institute, the activity was held to help local students communicate with Chinese ones.

In the cultural lecture session, Wang Rui, the Chinese director of Confucius Institute, introduced cultural background information related to Mid-Autumn Festival, one of the traditional Chinese festivals to celebrate family reunion.
The Nanchen Astronomical Society in SISU had a online streaming with the participants. Despite the time lag, everyone can still enjoy the full moon together through live broadcast.
Wang Jing and Han Xinyi, two volunteers from SISU, collaborated to perform a singing and dancing performance "Orchid Pavilion Introduction". The performance told the story of ancient people drinking and having fun with friends during traditional festival.
The participants took part in a variety of Chinese traditional cultural experiences, including making mooncakes, guessing lantern riddles and folding paper rabbits. In ancient Chinese traditional mythology, there is a rabbit living on the moon. It is a symbol of the Mid-Autumn Festival and loved by people. In the Chinese clothing experience area, participants tried on traditional Chinese clothing-Hanfu.
