he opening ceremony of the 60th SISU sports meeting is held in the morning of November 8. About 500 athlete representatives attended the opening ceremony.
Different sport teams distinguish themselves with different slogans, uniforms and dazzling displays, mostly adhering to their own school features. For example, students from the sport team of School of Russian and Eurasian studies take a figure-sized matryoshka doll as their mascot. The ceremony weaves diverse culture into a beautiful tapestry.
The sports meeting will last two days, from November 8 to November 9, during which all courses and other teaching activities will be suspended.
According to the schedule, the games cover ranges of sports, including athletics and fun games, such as tug-of-war and group skipping rope.
