ISU houses a range of state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities including world-class simultaneous interpretation systems, satellite signal-receiving devices and linguistic laboratories. A powerful digital audio-visual database containing multimedia resources in foreign studies has been set up to serve the needs of teaching and research.

An array of equipments and devices, including eye-tracking and other cognitive neuroscience technologies, are being developed in our linguisitc laboratories to support our pioneering research in psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics and interpreting studies.

Along with major supporting infrastructure, mutiple laboratories, from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to model courts and from graphic design to new media applications, have been established to encourage our students to put therioes they are learning in classes into practice.
