Established in 1949, the year of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, SISU is now a leading Chinese university with a global vision, enabling the seeking of truth and character building and dedicated to producing elite personnel. SISU is known for being one of the earliest institutions where China’s higher education in foreign languages took shape.
