uang Qi, national political adviser, the associate professor of School of Law at Shanghai International Studies University, submitted four proposals at the annual Two Sessions, which won attention from mainstream media including Xinmin Evening Post, Kankan News and Wenhui.

Huang’s proposals included revising wildlife protection law, imposing employment restrictions on sex offenders, regulating personal data’s collection, use and management in social governance, and increasing care for autistic children.

Huang said that a national legal system of employment restrictions on sex offenders was effective to prevent sex crimes that had caught attention in recent years.

"Electronic technology can help supervise monitor criminals through real-time positioning. Persons involved in sexual assaults should be restricted from occupations related to minors for life." She said.

She suggested increasing support for families and social organizations of autistic children as they account for the largest proportion of mentally disabled children in China. She also emphasized that governments should clarify its responsibilities to set industry standards, and autistic children should be allowed to attend ordinary schools and contact with healthcare service providers freely.
