SISU administrators and the visiting delegation extensively discussed about talent cultivation, agreeing to establish deeper mutual cooperation in the future. Li Yuesong, Vice Chair of SISU’s University Council, expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their support to the employment work of SISU.
Counsellor Chen highly affirmed SISU’s academic achievements these years and extended his appreciation to SISU for having recommended a large number of outstanding talents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, the delegation presented the latest White Paper of China’s Diplomacy to SISU as gift.
During the visit, the delegation members had several extensive discussions with SISU faculty and students. Both sides agreed to develop further cooperation in selecting more outstanding students to join China’s diplomacy.
Last May, SISU built its Student Diplomatic Elite Club (SISUDEC), China’s first student community designed to prepare high-quality diplomats. The delegation expressed their congratulations to the club’s first anniversary on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They promised to offer more support to the club.
