he freshmen of Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) watched the welcome party at the SISU Auditorium on September 24th. The evening party was not only the end of their military training but also the start of new university life for freshmen.
The party contained dance, drama, singing, music and so on. The dance by JUMP, one of the most popular students' organizations, activated the atmosphere of the party. “The party is wonderful. I’m surprised that the students are so talented,” said Li Hao, a military instructor.
Military instructors’ performance became the highlight of the party. The video made by Saycheese, a student photography team of SISU, moved many students into tears. The instructors, who spent 14 days with students expressed their best wishes in the video. “I will cherish these special times,” said instructor He Liu.
“I was moved by the performance of instructors. They work so hard. Their spirit is worth learning,” said Wu Qingmei, a freshman from the School of Law.
